International Women’s Mountain Biking Day
Saturday May 2nd, 2026
Why we host this event
We celebrate Women’s Mountain Biking Day because getting more women on bikes changes everything. Confidence grows, friendships form, and the trail becomes a place where women feel seen, supported, and welcomed no matter their skill level.
ShredHer was built on that vision by our founder, Jolie Costello, who is the rider featured in the IMBA article about Women’s MTB Day. Her story and her passion for growing a strong, inclusive women’s riding community is at the heart of why we host this day every year.
